YT VIDEO – The Full Mezzanine Build!

This was a long time coming, and it’s finally here.

My thumbnail game is improving, maybe I need to start taking those photos where I’m stood holding my cheeks gasping?

This has taken weeks and weeks to get this done. My longest video yet at around 25 minutes has actually taken around 5 weeks to complete. Every little 10 seconds of another step has actually been hours of research and hours of work to make sure it’s right first time.

Overall the build went as expected. When I bought the mezzanine in the first place I originally thought ‘Oh, that’s ok, I’ll just cut it down and make it fit’ and that is essentially what I did, its just that cutting those beams were an hour each, cutting and rewelding the posts was equally time consuming…

But it’s all in now and it’s exactly what I needed it to be.

Hopefully the next video will be coming along faster. It’s a part 2 of the mezzanine, first job is to fill the chips on the edges of the used floorboards, add many more screws over and above the ones used while I was laying it out, and then paint the floor to make it look new. Following that I can paint the walls upstairs, move in the furniture and set up the next big part of the infrastructure in the workshop – the YouTube editing station, merch packaging area and more.
