With massive progress comes massive risks. Not days after the upload of the completed mezzanine video I got straight to work on the next one – that video took too long to get out and I’m keep to keep the content coming so I cracked on.
Within days of posting the last video I filled and sanded the floor, painted the walls, lifted about 8 pieces of furniture onto the mez and then…
As you might have seen from the Furniture video I stacked it all in the corner to keep the space useable while I build the mez, with some of it being 3 units high. standing on top of a wardrobe cabinet I was lifting another unit off the top, lost my footing and fell to the floor with my leg behind me up against the wall. My knee popped out and in again straight away, but the ligament damage is much more significant.
A day in hospital with another one a few days later, an MRI on the way and crutches for at least 4 weeks.
This is going to have a massive impact not only on the videos but the build too – I have the car ramp arriving in around 4 weeks and I need the space. I’ve also had another delivery which I want to share with you but I can’t just yet that is taking up even more space.
The pressure is most definitely on!
