A solid few days in the workshop over the Christmas and new years break – got some painting done!

The handprints were a good idea at the time, it made me laugh anyway… but that was also the moment I found out that the sink tap didn’t work and I had a red hand for the rest of the day.
The paint went on really, well, I’d seen others do a similar thing on their bricks and really struggled but I’d not used a masonry brush before and I doubt their did either as it went on really easily. The spray gun worked out well too… until it all ran down the back of the masking.
Still, turned out to be an easy fix as the red was so think it covered it straight up.
it does look a little strange having the lower half of one wall painted, but that’s all the area that the mezzanine will cover so I don’t have to fight my way around the beams and posts like I would if I painted after. The next video is going to be starting on the mezzanine assembly, gong to be an interesting one for sure!
