Here we go, launch day for the Youtube Channel with the first episode form the new unit, and on Friday 13th too!
As thumbnails go it’s admittedly ropey but I had to get something out there!
Basically, this video is getting in, finally being able to empty my shed at home from all the stuff thats in there and give a quick tour. I’d have liked to have done more in terms of getting more things over, getting some shelving in there or my tools, getting some paint on the walls or some banners here and there, but it’s pretty amazing how much time filming everything adds to things.
The door lock, what should have been a ten minute job too forever – the new lock didnt quite fit and I had to chisel out a little more wood, but i didn’t have the tools to do it at the time and had to make an hours round trip to get them from my house. Then with all the camera angles and things, fighting the rain the whole thing ended up taking a good couple of hours.
But, the first video is live, it wasn’t intentional to send it on Friday 13th, but I don’t mind that at all. It’s a major milestone for the channel and for myself. The quality of the videos will undoubtedly improve as I do more. There is so much content to come, there is hugh amounts of workshop furniture en-route as I type this post, and hopefully the first project vehicle will be arriving shortly too – it’s a really exciting time!
