Here’s the first teaser to what’s coming to the channel: Project Smash
This incredibly badly photoshopped is the first photo of the SainzFAB project car uploaded to the channel. It’s been mine for nearly 2 years now and I’ve not turned a single bolt on her since I got it, waiting for the channel launch.
It’s JDM, it’s RWD, its 2 door, and its my number 1 dream car… well, not this one, it’s a wreck but a good one of these would be my dream car.
I have a history with this particular car… not this one exactly, but I’ve had one which I crashed drifting, another that caught on fire, and now this one that has had more owners than parts removed.It’s a car that’s been in my life off and on for many, many years and I’m determined to have one that is fit for the roads.
This particular car is sadly in a very bad way. None of the panels are straight or in the same colour. There is no interior at all, there is rust and rot almost everywhere and a few of the many previous owners have attempted modifications that I don’t want to keep.
This donor car for this is my previous one – the car that was on fire. With the full interior burned out and only some of the under bonnet components savable, everything I have for it will need to be restored as much as the shell itself.
I know full well that for the price of a new one I could buy a much better car. I know that if I restore this dismal pile of rust it’ll cost me more than it would to buy one. I know that for most people looking at it, it’s a poor example of a predictable youtuber car. But I also know that until one of these cars is in my life then my car history will be forever incomplete.
As soon as the workshop is built to a point where there is room for it the car will be coming out of storage and straight on the ramp… and then straight on to the channel. I can’t wait for the reveal!
